RICHARD MARSHALL is producer, director of photography and editor of CERTIFIABLY JONATHAN. He co-produced and shot the PBS television documentary DRAWING FIRE, about political cartoonist, Paul Conrad. Marshall wrote, designed and directed DA - PURSUIT OF JUSTICE, a four-hour liveaction interactive title, was also Creative Director on LAW & ORDER – DEAD ON THE MONEY, an interactive game, based on the hit television show. He has directed films for IBM, the SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTE, the SMITHSONIAN AIR & SPACE MUSEUM and as well as documentaries for the MUSEUM OF MODERN ART as well as an hour-long documentary for PBS on the blacklisted Hollywood writer/director Abraham Polonsky. He has directed commercials for clients including IBM, AMERICAN EXPRESS, NORELCO, U.S. MARINES, BURGER KING, PANASONIC, NISSAN and MTV, and produced and directed feature trailers and opening title sequences for every major studio, television and cable network. Marshall spent several years as a director at the Actors and Directors Lab, The Samuel Becket and Harold Clurman Theaters, two premiere off-Broadway theaters in NYC.
